Pick on someone your own size
My father’s sword

Human noble

It didn’t seem right. I had never seen a band of Giants strike to quickly and resolutely. The largest of them carried a metal sword! My small retinue of crodlu cavalry was nearly overwhelmed. The house of Adann would have been defeated if not for the timely arrival of an unlikely ally…

Thump. Arrow strikes home in the Giants sword arm. As it turns to look..thump, thump, thump as more arrows pepper the lead Giant. Out of small hole in the desert was a half-concealed figure, sand still sliding from his desert cloak and bow in hand. Thunk. Then the elf was up an running to keep out of the Giants reach. He definitely had its undivided attention.

The ambush was working perfectly. Baz had taken the initiative, as always, and began hitting that poor giant with arrows. I wonder if these giants have mammoths that they milk for cheese production….anyways. It was my turn to shine. I summoned a plant man to do my bidding, and he charged into the nearest giant, flanking from the side. With my summons in play, I shape changed into a large bear, sinking my teeth and claws into a nearby giant. Taste like chicken with some gamey undertones.

Now this is a fight! I may be tiny but I am far from timid. Now you see me now you dont Giant ( darts through the big oafs legs), FEEL THE TICKLE OF MY TRIKAL!

Derek
Baz – Elf Fremen,(thief, bard, some PSI)

High Concept:Living for the now
Trouble: Eye for the ladies
Beginning story:Run, run run…Some times that is the story of Baz’s life. It would be tragic if he didn’t enjoy it so much. In this case he was one of any decoys. The Fremen swept in grabbed a number of ‘slaves’ and escaped. Only one was the their quarry but there was no need for the Templars to know that. Some decoys will get caught. Others would escape. But the Templars would be hard pressed to get that many of us in the wind.
Run run run…why aren’t we taking a break? Elfs legs are too long. One of the elves has made the distress whistle, signaling that we’re being followed. The delicious Templars are not too far behind us. I might have to make like a bird of flight or give them something to think about with a summons…maybe if I braise them in chicken stock first….hmmm….
Ugh, all this damn running, when do we get to fight?! When do we get to eat?!…maybe Bittle has some more of that delicious jozal stock…

Susie (Lilu)

High Concept: guardian from another world

Trouble: not from around here

Aspects: Four arms, insatiable curiosity, trained in strange ways

I’ve been sent from the Land Beyond the Winds to find the one before me. His body is on the outskirts of this city of Balic. I will bury him in this hard packed earth and pick up where he left off. I must not fail in my duties. I’ll gather knowledge of this world so I can protect my own kind against it’s ravages.

Cerriso: “Tell me little one, just what do you think you are planting in the soil of Andropinis’ garden?” I approached the tiny creature with my sword drawn. “You’re not from around here are you? I suggest we make haste. Uninvited guests are executed here. Particularly those who dig up the soil next to the dictator’s potion trees! Quickly, someone is coming!”

“Give her a break. She’s new around here and actually smaller then you.” said the elf lazily sitting under a shady tree. Crunch from the apple he ate. “So what’s the news little one? Where are you from?”
Mike – Bittle – Halfling Druid
High Concept: Tree Hugger
Trouble: cherubic innocence
Aspect: what does that taste like, animals love me, trusting face

The deserted caravan just didn’t feel right. No guards, no one inside the carriage…no kanks. No tracks or sign of a fight. Something evil had taken these people. Unnatural. I warned the group to stay away and not take anything, but they scavenged it anyways. Stupid vultures. Mmmm…delicious vultures.

I could almost taste it…warm fresh blood on the hot dry winds!
The pangs of hunger nearly brought me to my knees. I crested the dune and there alone was a small one like me, picking a bone clean…maybe he’ll share…

I see a small person talking to a small plant on the ground… upon closer inspection, I think she is convincing the plant grow. This is someone I can get along with.
